  What happens to Bethelites?

  so if someone puts their life into serving the cult for free at bethel, then say after 25 or 30 years they are not able to for one reason or another such as illness, or family issue or old age, does the cult have any safety net for these people or is it you serve until you can't and when you can't you just go away?

  As the French say: 'C'est la vie'...that's life!

  It's sad that aged ex-Bethelites have to spend their last chapter in life, after being kicked out by 'Mother', fending for themselves...dealing with rent, medical bills, insurance, travel expenses, employment, food...the list is endless and can/will get expensive and burdensome for them. Add to their pitiful plight...is if the only family they have to assist them are disfellowshipped children or other family members who they disowned and who they've shunned all these years to crawl back to. A good word to sum it all up is...Karma!

  I know someone who is being shunned for nearly 15 years by his:

  4 sisters

  4 brothers

  4 brother n laws

  4 sister n laws

  5 nephews

  7 nieces

  The parents, on the other hand, are rebels against the WT's cruel and harsh disfellowshipping/shunning doctrine. They demonstrate unconditional love to all their children including their ex-JW son.

  Amber Scorah...now there is a beautiful mind! Amber is soo fun and enjoyable to listen to. She is a survivor of a dangerous cult and she's out to warn her fellow man & woman.

  How in the hell is the cult (WTBTS) to combat and deal with the backlash? Amber is one of hundreds of thousands of ex-JWs who have in recent years become inactive or, like Amber, have left the cult entirely and are burning bridges behind them in the process.

  It would be one thing for Jehovah's Witnesses to be off by 5° on a teaching or doctrine. But what the hell these knuckleheads were off by 180°!

  I like how days of future passed put it:

  Could this be the reincarnation/resurrection of the 1998 'Pioneers Assist Others' program that lasted only a few years.

  I remember a worldwide letter (early 2000s) that was addressed to the elders but not read to the congregations. It said something to the effect:

  "The Pioneers Assist Others program has served its purpose and will be discontinued!" That was it...short & sweet...no explanation given for terminating the program back then...really weird!

  It obviously was a colossal failure back then...so why recycle it?

  do they still show these figures in the K.H ?

  In my neck of the woods the attendance figures are still displayed on the 'Bulletin' board and ya...there is usually between 25% to 35% no-shows!

  since june 2016 i have kept a journal of my encounters with jehovah's witnesses at my door or in my street.

  i'm a a nosey bastard and a bit of a home body when i'm not at work so i don't miss much of who comes past my home or knocks at the door.. will and dill.. they came to my door on a wednesday morning around 10:30am mid june 2016, i was on afternoon shift and had been reading bart ehrman "misquoting jesus".. what follows is the conversation as best i could recount after they left;.

  of the two young gentlemen, dillon, the younger in appearance introduced will and himself, he then proceeded to present me with a brochure about world conditions supposedly getting worse.. me: i could stand at the door nodding in agreement if you like?

  Speaking of JW suicides:

  I heard of a very active, well known JW elder...circuit assembly parts in Southern California...married...a number of weeks ago up & commits suicide.
  

  I heard of another JW brother, also from Southern California who a few weeks ago committed suicide.

  So much for urgent life saving work among Jehovah's Witnesses!
